Researchers from the IPS Employment Center in the USA have developed an adaptation of the IPS Fidelity Scale tailored to the young adult (15 to 26 years) population.
There are 35 items, many are the same as the IPS scale, with items on education, family involvement, and career exploration.
Work Counts recommends that organisations in New Zealand who are supporting young people with mental health and addiction issues into employment and education should look to use this new IPS-Y scale, rather than the IPS-25 scale, to measure the quality of their support practices.
