Play video

As part of the Work Counts seminar series, we recently hosted Professor Eóin Killackey, the associate director of research at Orygen, Australia, as he presented on evidence-based models of primary and community mental health care.

The timing of this couldn’t be better with the government’s response to in the Wellbeing Budget 2019, committing to a new frontline mental health service in primary care.

Eóin is a clinical psychologist and researcher, with a focus on helping young people with mental illness recover well. This includes supporting education and employment aspirations and improving physical health. He also focuses his research on service system reform in the mental health and addiction system.
